Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet

Auditions Monday, June 11th from 4:00-6:00pm
Director:  Peter Gould
Ages:  12-19
Tuition:  $400
Rehearsals: begin Tuesday 9/4
Performances: October 12 to 21st
This will be a very emotional, accurate, demanding production--an ensemble cast of mixed ages, 12 to 18. It will be a challenging senior production, but with ample important roles for younger actors, as well. Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute Shakespeare monologue. As you prepare, take care to notice the punctuation, the use of breath, and how a thought can jump the end of a line and keep on going. Make sure you know what you are saying! We'll do a group warm-up before the speeches, and you are invited to stay to watch and encourage everyone else.

Rehearsals: JULY 23  – AUGUST 10 9:00am-4:00pm (no weekends scheduled, yet other than performance weekend)
