Presence: Filling the Space: Ages 13 and up (or by teacher permission) Keely Eastley and Eric Bass Tuesdays, 3:30 - 6 pm. Rose Room. $250. 6 weeks.
The actor works with Body, Breath, Voice, Intellect and Imagination to bring LIFE to the story being told. These alone, however, do not necessarily create a strong theatrical presence. The energy of the heart, mind, and spirit need to awaken these basic tools, and project through them. When actors are present to each other in their breath and body, they share a humanity that makes theater compelling.
We will work to develop presence through movement, breath and voice in a collaborative process and work with the questions-What are you working on? What do you bring to the rehearsal process?
