Pilar Garcia Sussman

Pilar received her BA in Speech from the University of Tulsa. Living and working in NYC she was a performing member of The Paper Bag Players, CSA Repertory, The Richard Morse Mime Theater, and in the Broadway cast of Mummenschanz. In Chicago she performed as actor/narrator with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Youth Concert and the Concertante di Chicago Chamber Orchestra. Pilar was a Visiting Professor at Principia College, and also has taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Stella Adler's Conservatory of Acting, the Herbert Bergof Studio, and Salt Creek School of Ballet. She continues to coach actors in mime and movement, and dancers with their mime and acting.
