Peter Amidon

Peter is a singer, choir director, storyteller, dance teacher/caller, and composer/arranger.  He recently released the book and companion CD Beatitudes: Amidon Choral Arrangements.  A freelance musician, Peter performs with his partner and wife, Mary Alice, at major music and dance fesitivals, folk camps of song and dance, and elementary schools.  The Amidons have recorded 10 albums of songs for all ages.  Peter has collaborated on creating three original musicals with Stephen Stearns, all of which were based on traditional folk tales and premiered at New England Youth Theatre.
