Since then she has been making up for lost time. She has acted as assistant director in multiple NEYT shows: Little Women, Harvey, The Miracle Worker, The Jungle Book, melodrama program shows, Night at the Opera and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She has also assisted TAP shows for children, and has recently returned to her own acting, as a student in the adult TAP class, and in Rebecca Waxman’s adult acting class. She also appeared as several characters in a one-act series “Sweet Cantatas.” She played a fun bit part in the alumni show The Importance of Being Earnest in 2007 and this year, 2008, is playing Madame Pernelle in Tartuffe. She has also played several parts in the musical revue: Happy Faces and Hard Knock Lives.
Julianne’s most notable contribution to NEYT has been her development of a daytime acting class for a small cadre of devoted home schooled children.
